Broxburn gets us underway in Polbeth. The pitch is wet and a little sodden.

First attack is from Broxburn winning the ball in midfield and working the ball out wide to Zak Black. Zak has a lovely ball into the middle whose cross is met well by Zak Ewen, but the shot is well taken by the keeper. Nice play from the team there.

An attack by Polbeth is snuffed out by Daniel who clears the danger for a corner to Polbeth.

A very nice corner into the middle looks dangerous but the ball bounces up and strikes the Polbeth players hand and the foul goes to Broxburn.

Broxburn play the ball out well from the free kick with passes from Sam, Ben and Max. An attempted through ball is cut out and the play breaks down.

More good play this time from Sam and Ben, who exchange passes then drive forward. Polbeth have a number of players back, the move is stopped, and the ball cleared.

Polbeth on the attack and again Daniel is in the right place and intercepts the attempted through pass. Daniel plays in Zak Ewen who drives forward but tackled and Polbeth clear for a throw in.

Throw in is knocked out again by Polbeth. Next throw in finds Zak Ewen whose routh to goal is blocked. The ball bounces in the middle of the park received by a Polbeth player who is fouled and the free kit goes to Polbeth.

Free kick from Polbeth travels all the way through to Callum.

Callums kick out reaches Zak Black in the opposite half, after a good first touch Zak is crowded out.

Broxburn win the ball back and Sam drives forward. Sam smashes a lovely shot but it drifts just wide with the keeper nowhere.

Polbeth on the attack now but Max and Matthew combine to stop Polbeth progressing. Polbeth come again and Max and Matthew combine to halt Polbeth, this time at the expense of a corner.

Another good corner by Polbeth, this time cleared by Ben.

Broxburn play out well from the back and are now on the attack. Some more nice play from Ben, Sam and Zak B gives Zak E a half chance but the keeper saves well.

More good defending from Daniel and Ryan Gracie.

A promising move by Polbeth is cut out by Ben, who clears well for a throw in.

The pitch is very heavy and the team are struggling to get their passing game going. Polbeth are much more direct in their play missing out the midfield for the most part.

Broxburn again play it out from the back from Callum to Max who plays a nice ball for Zak Ewen. Zak controls the ball well but is quickly shut down and the ball is cleared for a throw in.

Polbeth win the ball back and drive into the Broxburn half. The Polbeth player is fouled and they have a free kick.

1 - 0 Polbeth - 9m

Polbeth are ahead with a strong free kick from distance. The ball skids off the wet surface and flies past Callum into the corner of the goal.

Broxburn get us underway and are back on the attack. Some promising play in front of the Polbeth goal results in a free kick in a promising position. Zak Ewen hits a sweet strike, but his shot is just wide.

Matthew and Zak Ewen combine to win the ball back from the Polbeth goal kick. Their pressure results in a corner to Broxburn.

The corner is swung in and cleared by Polbeth who are stopped in their tracks by another foul from Broxburn.

From the free kick, Ben wins the ball back and plays a nice ball through for Zak Black. The keeper is off his line quickly and clears the danger.

Polbeth play is again halted for a foul by Broxburn.

Zak Black wins the ball back from the Polbeth free kick and drives into the Polbeth half. Hes on his own and is crowded out by Polbeth who win the ball back and bring the ball clear. They win another free kick.

The free kick from Polbeth is again route one but comes all the way to Callum who holds onto the ball.

From Callums kick-out Broxburn have some nice play in the middle of the field with Ryan Hudson and Ben combining well. Their attempt at a through ball is unfortunately cuty out.

Good play by Ben and Brody is initially snuffed out but the team come again and this time win a free kick. The free-kick is well worked and finds its way out to Ryan Gracie from Ben. Ryan makes for the by-line and gets his cross in which is cut out by the Polbeth defender.

Broxburn win a free kick as Polbeth are judged to be offside.

Some nice passing from Broxburn from the free kick involving Matthew, Daniel, Zak Ewen, Ryan Hudson and Ben which moves the play into the Polbeth half and results in a throw in to Broxburn.

From the throw in there is a brief scramble in the box before the ball falls to Ben who has a snapshot at goal. Unfortunately, he hasn’t caught it right and the ball skids wide.

Another attack from Polbeth which is stopped by Max and Matthew and then cleared by Ben for a corner.

The corner comes in but is straight to Callum.

Broxburn attack and manage to win themselves a corner.

From the corner there is some nice play from Brody, Jack and Ryan Hudson before Zac Ewen manages to get a shot away. The shot is well taken by the keeper who clears the ball up field. The ball falls kindly for Polbeth and a nice through ball results in a foul and free kick for Polbeth in a good position.

Thankfully this time the free kick is well hit but well over the bar for a goal kick to Broxburn.

Broxburn try to play out from the back but are caught and Polbeth are again on the attack. Broxburn crowd the box and after a short scramble the ball falls to a Polbeth player who has a shot but Callum is well placed to collect.

The ball is cleared by Callum to the middle of the park where it initially falls to a Polbeth player before being won back by some good tackling by Ryan Hudson.

More strong play by Ryan Hudson winning the ball back from Polbeth and playing the ball to Ben who plays a lovely pass to Zak Ewen. Zak goes round one man and plays a nice through ball towards goal but there are no takers from Broxburn.

Polbeth play the ball out and are stopped by Ryan Hudson who is then fouled.

Ryan Hudson takes the free kick into the box but Polbeth clear and go into attack. The attack is quickly halted by Max who clears the ball for a throw in.

More pressure from Polbeth again cut out by Max, the ball comes back and is cut out and cleared by Matthew. His ball into the middle of the park is intercepted and kicked back into the Broxburn box. There is some pinball and a shot which is again cleared by Broxburn.

The team are defending deeper and deeper and struggling to get out.

A throw in by Polbeth is cleared by Daniel for a corner. The corner is swung in and well met by the Polbeth player who heads over for a goal kick to Broxburn.

Broxburn defending deep again, a shot is blocked by Matthew who makes the clearance.

Ryan Hudson makes a good tackle and wins the throw in.

Another attacking play from Polbeth results in a shot from distance which sails wide.

Daniel makes a nice tackle and clearance, halting another attack.

Another foul from Broxburn and Polbeth have a free kick in a promising position. Shot from the free kick is on target, Callum spills and makes a recovery save. The ball is out wide and crossed into the Broxburn box, claimed by Callum.

A break away by Broxburn, Matthew plays in Jack who sets off into the Polbeth half. Nice pass from Jack to Ben, who drives forward and gets a shot away. Its on target but is blocked by a cluster of players.

Broxburn get a free kick in the middle of the park. A nice ball from Ryan Hudson to Brody who is fouled closer to the Polbeth goal. Zak Ewen takes the free kick but its blocked and cleared.

Half Time 1 - 0 To Polbeth

The team have huffed and puffed in that first half and struggled to get any sort of consistent play going. The team are trying to get their passing game going but have struggled to do just that in a hard fought first half.

2nd Half

Polbeth get the 2nd half underway.

Ryan Hudson cuts out a Polbeth play and plays the ball to Zak Ewen. Some nice passing from Zak to Ben to Sam gets as far as the opposition box where it is cleared by the defence.

Having cut out another Polbeth attack, Max strides out of defence and trys the play a through ball to Brody. Too much traffic and the ball is cut out.

A long kick out by the Polbeth keeper goes all the way through to Callum, who plays the ball out to Matthew who starts an attack for Broxburn.

A Polbeth attack produces a nice shot from distance that is well saved by Callum.

The game goes back and forth with both teams trying to push forward but getting no further than each other’s penalty box.

Polbeth get a corner which they swing into a dangerous area. Callum smothers the ball at the attacker’s feet.

Callum plays the ball out which makes it way to Sam who drives into the Polbeth half. Sam is on his own, eventually crowded out and the ball is cleared. The clearance travels into the Broxburn half, collected by Matthew who clears.

Broxburn win a throw in the Polbeth half. The throw in comes to Zac Ewen who beats his man and plays a lovely ball into the middle. Jack is in a great position, but the ball is just behind him and the ball is cleared.

The clearance travels into the Broxburn half, Sam has run most of the pitch to get back, win the ball and give it to Matthew who clears for a throw in for Polbeth.

The Polbeth throw in is crossed into the box. Play is scrappy as Broxburn attempt to clear and Polbeth try to make themselves an opening. The ball breaks to a Polbeth player who gets a shot away which is well held by Callum.

Broxburn are again struggling to get out and the ball is played out for a Polbeth corner. The corner is swung in and punched clear by Callum. Polbeth gather the clearance and get a shot in from distance which is well saved by Callum.

1 -1 Equalizer Zak Black
From the save Callum kicks the ball to the halfway line where it is gathered by Brody. Brody drives out on the left wing, beats his man, and plays a lovely ball back across the goal to Zac Black who finishes very well to tie the game up. Lovely play back to front from the team.

Polbeth get the game back underway and go back into attack.

Play is scrappy and there are numerous throw ins and tacking. Play is mostly in the Broxburn half.

A Polbeth shot is well saved by Callum and cleared by Max.

Zak Black, Ben and Brody combine to push into the Polbeth half but are crowded out and the ball is cleared.

Sam picks up the ball in his own half and drives forward. His nice ball through to Brody is judged to be offside.

Polbeth are stopped in their tracks by Ryan Hudson and Matthew.

Ben receives the ball in the middle of the pitch and plays a lovely ball out wide for Zak Ewen who drives forward and delivers a lovely cross into the box. Unfortunately, there are no takers.

Polbeth play a long clearance which is received and cleared by Matthew.

Sam wins the ball in the middle of the park and drives onward. He gets a shot away which is unfortunately over.

Polbeth break away and get a cross into the box which is cut out by Callum.

Polbeth shot from distance is saved by Callum.

Broxburn break forward through Ryan Hudson, who gets the ball to Ben who gets the ball out wide to Zac Ewen. Zacs cross into the box is well met by Brody who smashes a shot low goalward. The net moves, the coaches celebrate, but the ball has just missed the goal and hit the side netting. Nice play from the team there.

Polbeth attempt a break away and Max once again cuts it out.

Sam and Ben combine and make progress into the Polbeth half. The ball is passed out to Zak Ewen who cross is cleared but only as far as Ben who gets a shot away but the keeper makes the save.

Polbeth clear the ball up field and win a free kick on the edge of the Broxburn box.

2 - 1 Polbeth

The Polbeth player smashes the ball into the top corner to take the lead. 8 mins to go.

Broxburn take centre.

Sam gets the ball out to Zak Ewen who plays the ball to Ryan Gracie. Ryan is pushed out wide and doesn’t have much to aim at. He manages to get a good shot or target which is well saved by the Polbeth keeper.

Polbeth clear the ball but it goes out of play for a goal kick to Broxburn.

Zak Black plays a nice through ball to Brody but he is crowded out by Polbeth.

An attack by Polbeth is cut out by Ryan Hudson who plays a nice ball to Ryan Gracie. Ryan skips past one but is tackled and the boy is out for a throw.

Some pressure from Broxburn in the dying stages has a number of clearances from Polbeth. Brody receives a lovely ball from Zac Black but Brodys shot is well saved by the Polbeth keeper.

Polbeth clear the ball and get a shot away which is well saved by Callum.

Callum clears the ball which is received by Ryan Gracie who tries to play in Brody but the pass is cut out.
